
Studio Policies and Procedures
At QC Fit Yoga we aim to create a harmonius and respectful environment for all of our students and members. By adhering to our policies and procedures this helps in creating this harmonius space for our yoga community.

Studio etiquette

Arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to settle in. There is a 5 minute grace period.

Remove shoes before entering the practice space.

Keep voices low to maintain a peaceful environment.

No cell phones on the mat – silence or turn them off.

Stay for the full class (if you must leave early, inform the instructor beforehand).

Class Requirements/ No Shows/Late Cancel

Pre-registration is encouraged (via our app or website).

Walk-ins are welcome if space allows (no guarantees)

A minimum of 2-3 students is required for a class to be held. Notification of any cancellation of class will be communicated 4 hours before class time. All classes held early or mid morning will be communicated by the end of the prior business day.

Late arrivals beyond 5 minutes may not be admitted.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 hours before class to avoid late cancellations. The first 3 late cancellations will result in loss of credit, and after that you will lose credit and incur late cancellation fee of $10. For no shows, it is the same process but a $20 no-show fee.

Packages and Memberships

All classes, memberships, and workshops must be paid in advance.

No refunds, but class credits may be issued in special cases.

Membership freezes allowed once per year (medical or travel reasons).

Workshops & special events have separate cancellation policies (typically 48-hour notice required).​

Classes, Workshops and More
QC Fit Yoga reserves the right to cancel, or change the date of a workshops or trainings at any time. We will adhere to the respect of our students by doing our best in notifying all students by email, and all of our social media platforms.

Health and Safety guidelines

Students must sign a waiver before attending their first class.

If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.

Please do not restack the bolsters, blankets and blocks- it's flu, RSV, germ season we sanitize all props after each class.

Community and respect

QC Fit Yoga is a judgment-free zone – all bodies, backgrounds, and levels are welcome.

We encourage kindness, inclusivity, and respect in every class.

Discrimination, harassment, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

Feedback is welcomed – students can share thoughts anonymously or directly.

Youth-Minimum Age requirement
Our classes are designed for students 16 years of age or older. If you would like to bring your child to a regular yoga class with you, he/she must be at least 14 years old.
